The Caldwell Hornets got off to a slow start last week at the Mumford Tournament, falling to Anderson-Shiro and A&M Consolidated JV, before rallying with wins over Milano and Llano to win the tournament Bronze Pool.
The Hornets opened tournament play on Friday, Dec. 27, with a 49-41 loss to Anderson-Shiro.
