    A Caldwell man was charged with felony assault on Wednesday, July 30, in connection with an attack on a woman at Caldwell Heights Apartments on East MLK Drive.

    Michael Dewayne Torres, 46, was charged with assault with a previous assault conviction and is now free on $10,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office. Caldwell police responded at 9:40 p.m. to a report of a woman assault…
