BURLESON COUNTY COMMUNITY Emergency Response Team (CERT) provided First Aid and sold drinks at Saturday night’s Main Street Caldwell Summer Concert Series event. CERT provides individuals with the basic skills they will need in the event of a major emergency or disaster and assists first responders. Members of the Caldwell Fire Department are also pictured.
Sales tax revenues showed a decrease for August 2025 from August 2024 for Burleson County in Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock’s latest monthly report.
However, all cities within the county showed increases, according to the acting comptroller.
The report was based on sales made in June by businesses that report tax monthly and on sales made in April, May and June by quarterly filers.
