On July 29, Gretchen Livengood’s life changed in an instant when her car was struck broadside by an 18-wheeler at the F.M. 60 and F.M. 50 intersection.
Livengood was lifeflighted to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, where she remained in the Intensive Care Unit for some time.
She said that she was diagnosed with six fractured vertebra, as well as eight broken ribs and a concussion.
