Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an animal cruelty case involving a donkey on County Road 409.
A resident reported on Wednesday, Dec. 24, that the donkey was seen in a pasture in the 500 block with overgrown hooves, signs of poor feeding and with difficulty walking, according to Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios.
