A local ranch was defrauded out of over $225,000 after an intended payment to a company for an oats purchase was illegally diverted to a fraudulent account.
Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the case as a felony fraud, and no arrest has been made at this time, said Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios.
