The Somerville cross country team ran at the McGregor 10th Annual XC Invitational 2021 at Bluebonnet Park in McGregor last Saturday, Sept. 11.
Twenty-three schools participated in the varsity events.
Destiny Vela finished 41st in the girls varsity 2-mile run for Classes 1A-4A schools. She had a time of 14:09.5.
Vela’s teammate Ra’Maya Carter finished 99th with a time of 19:30.4.
