The Snook Bluejays were looking for a major upset against powerful Burton last Friday at home, but the Panthers’ running game was too much as Snook fell 34-8 for their fifth straight loss.
Burton improved to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in district play, while Snook fell to 1-5 and 0-2 in district.
Burton rushed for 260 yards and had 246 total yards to Snook’s 101, 58 passing and 43 rushing.
