Cross country runners from Snook and Somerville competed at the Class 2A Region IV Cross Country Meet on Monday at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
In the girls 2A 3,200-meter race, Somerville’s Destiny Vela finished 28th with a time of 14:06.39.
Vela’s teammate Ra’Maya Carter was 95th with a time of 16:22.72, and Snook’s Paola Arredondo was 103rd with a time of 16:56.72.
