Caldwell and Somerville powerlifters competed at the Tiger Invitational in Rockdale on Saturday.
In the girls’ standings, Somerville edged out Caldwell for fifth place, both scoring 18 points.
Taylor won the girls’ team title with 38 points. Thrall was second with 28 points, and Giddings was third with 23.
Somerville’s Hailey Porter and Bryanna Surovik each won their individual weight classes.
