Snook’s Paola Arredondo and Nadia Garcia each placed first in their individual weight classes at the Brazos Invitational Powerlifting Meet on Feb. 2.
Arredondo won the 123-pound weight class with a total lift weight of 625 pounds -- 240 pounds in the squat, 110 in the bench press and 275 in the dead lift.
