Somerville Yegua football players Jesus Espinoza and Verkobe Woodberry were recently named as Texas Sportswriters Association (TSWA) Class 2A All-State Football Team selections.
Both athletes were named to the Honorable Mention offense’s squad.
Espinoza, a 6-2, 325-pound junior, was selected as a guard, and Woodberry, a 5-6, 135-pound senior, was selected as a wide receiver.
