Chapman, Hughson win boys’ doubles title
The Caldwell High School tennis team won the Thrall Tigers Invitational Varsity Team Championship on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Waylon Chapman and Connor Hughson placed first in boys’doubles.
The duo had a bye in the first round before easily beating Chtay and Brown of Salado 8-0. The team then beat teammates Keith Ramon and Breyden Athey in the championship match 8-5.
