The Somerville track and field team sent runners and throwers to Smithville last week to compete in the Smithville Tiger Relays.
Somerville varsity girls who participated were:
* 800-meter run: Destiny Vela, fifth, 2:45.06.
Addison Waneck of Smithville won this event with a time of 2:33.27.
