The Caldwell tennis team played in the Texas Tennis Coaches Association (TTCA) Class 3A and Under State Team Championship Tournament over the weekend, and finished 14th in the state, going 1-3 at the event in San Antonio.
On Friday morning, Caldwell faced Peaster, falling 10-2.
Caldwell’s wins came in boys singles with Alejandro Zapata defeating Brody Miller 9-7 and in a girls doubles forfeit.
