Funeral services for Angelina Mata-Coronado, 90, of Caldwell, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with Pastor Noberto Llara officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
Angelina died on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
Angelina was born on August 2, 1930, in San Louis Potosi, Mexico, to Eufemio Mata and Maria Piadad Coronado.
Angelina loved sitting out on her porch, looking at her beautiful rose bushes and reading her Bible.
She was a strong, fierce and independent woman who will be greatly missed, family said.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nieves Requena; her son, Noe Requena; her daughter, Dolores Martinez; two sisters; and one brother.
Angelina is survived by her sons, Rojasano Requena, of Mexico, and Carmello Requena, of Caldwell; her daughters, Juana Requena Martinez, of Caldwell, Maria Herrera of Dallas, Carmela Requena of Mexico, Consuelo Montoya of Thorndale, and Amelia Requena of Oregon.
