Funeral services for Artis Gail Havemann, 83, of Caldwell, were held on Sept. 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Providence Baptist Cemetery.
Gail was born on April 30, 1939, to George and Gladys (Ragsdale) Norville in Caldwell. She was one of four siblings.
Gail worked for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) as an accountant and later for the City of Caldwell as an administrative assistant.
She loved to sew and loved horseback riding and participating in rodeos.
Gail also loved to garden and loved cooking and hosting big family dinners.
She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She died on Sept. 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon; two daughters and sonsin- law; her grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one brother; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and her first husband.
