Mass of Christian burial for Brenda Polansky will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at Strickland Funeral Home chapel.
Brenda was born on Nov. 20, 1948, in Yorkshire, England.
She was raised alongside her three sisters and brother.
After moving to Germany, she met the love of her life, John Polansky Jr. Their connection quickly grew into a lifelong partnership, and together they traveled frequently due to John’s work in the U.S. State Department before settling in Texas, where they finished raising three children and built a loving home filled with warmth, creativity, and adventure.
She was a passionate gardener.
Brenda cherished exploring historical places, immersing herself in the stories of the past, and sharing those experiences with her family.
Brenda was also an incredibly talented artist.
She also had a deep affection for her family in England and New Zealand and found great joy in visiting them whenever possible, always cherishing the time spent with loved ones.
She died on Jan. 21, 2025.
