A memorial service for Clarence Hodrick Jr., 68, of Somerville, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at St. James Christian Church in Somerville, Texas.
He was born on September 24, 1953, to Clarence Hodrick Sr. and Lois Hodrick in Oakland, Calif.
He was a graduate of Jarvis Christian College.
He married Linda Oliver, and they had two children, Clarence Hodrick III and David Hodrick.
Clarence was a lifelong servant of the Christian faith and of the people.
He was an ordained minister and served as Pastor of Community Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas, Murphy Street Christian Church, and retired as Pastor of United Christian Church, both in Taylor, Texas.
He died on Dec. 15, 2021.
Clarence is survived by his mother; one brother; one niece; two nephews; five grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
