Funeral services for Claudetta Fay Rogers, 70, of Lexington, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021, at the First Assembly of God Church in Caldwell with Pastor David Ryman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rogers died on Friday, April 2, 2021.
Claudetta Fay Prosise was born on Sept. 10, 1950, in Llano, Texas, to parents J.D. Prosise and Marcelle (Eaton) Prosise.
She graduated and earned her Licensed Vocational Nurse and retired from Scott and White Clinic.
Claudetta married the love of her life, Gary Rogers, on Nov. 18, 1978.
She enjoyed growing her own vegetables, and everyone helped.
Claudetta loved to cheer on her grandkids at their sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Rogers; her mother and stepfather, Marcelle and S.J. Shelton; her father, J.D. Prosise; and her brother, Billy Prosise.
Claudetta is survived by her children, Cathryn Bayer and husband, Kevin, Carlotta Rogers, Scott Turk and wife, Melinda, and Jennifer Moneyhon and husband, Brandon; her brother, J.D. Prosise and wife, Linda; her grandchildren, Kason, Weston, Caitlyn and Holden Bayer, Dakota, Dylan, Camdyn, and Callyn Smith, Mikayla Blackwell and husband, Klayton, Cody and Dessiny Turk, and Robert and Rena Moneyhon; her greatgrandchildren, Ellyott and Kaisyn Blackwell.
