Elizabeth Ann Wilson (Kornegay) of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home Friday, August 12, 2022.
Elizabeth was born on January 14, 1942, in Caldwell, Texas, to Sam and Stacey (Navratil) Kornegay.
She attended school in Caldwell, Texas, graduating in 1960.
She briefly attended business college in Austin, Texas, returning to Caldwell following her father, Sam’s, death to help raise her younger siblings.
She had a passion for horses and was the secretary for the Burleson County Saddle Club in Caldwell.
She loved being outdoors, ceramics, listening and dancing to country music.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Wilson, of Kingston, Oklahoma; two daughters, Charlotte Buesing and husband, Rick Buesing, of Kingston, Oklahoma, and Kim Wilson Ferrie and husband, Travis Ferrie, of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, John Kornegay and Charles Kornegay of Bryan, Texas; and one sister, Susie Howry of Bryan Texas; along with nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sammy Ruth Kornegay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Elizabeth.
