A Celebration of Life for Eric Lundstrom, 30, of Caldwell was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with Rev. Tim Lee officiating.
Burial followed at Chriesman Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at the funeral home.
Mr. Lundstrom died on Sunday, March 21, 2021, in Bryan
Eric was born on Dec. 18, 1990, in Bryan to Richard and Peggy (Ferrell) Lundstrom.
Eric enjoyed life, had an amazing sense of humor, was always kind, caring and never met a stranger, family members said.
One of the family moments would be to go eat in Bryan-College Station.
He was often the family’s source of entertainment. He always had them smiling and laughing.
The Lundstrom house was the place to gather and enjoy the country life, where his friends would feed the chickens and cows.
Eric was a very social person. Prior to his condition worsening, he went on a family cruise where he was very adventurous in his meal planning by eating alligator and other delicacies.
For Halloween one year, Eric got with his best friends, Travis and Jacob, and they all dressed up as Power Rangers. Eric dressed up as the red Power Ranger.
He was very talented in art, drawing pictures, enjoyed dodge ball and was a movie buff.
Eric also loved taking nature pictures, especially red cardinals, deer, raccoons and insects.
He was a hat enthusiast, with a collection of fedoras and loved spending time with family and friends.
He loved his Savior and always wanted to glorify God. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caldwell.
He was very courageous and strong throughout his illness.
Eric always said, “I’ll try anything at least twice.”
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lundstrom; his uncle, Jimmy Ferrell; his grandparents, James and Shirley Ferrell; and his grandmother, Helen Small.
Eric is survived by his mother, Peggy Lundstrom; his aunts, Sharon and husband, Mike Barnett, Donna and husband, Charles Terry, Carolyn and husband, Ron Cleckner; and numerous cousins, other relatives, friends and FBC Church family.
Pallbearers were Kevin Hancock, Steve Hancock, Jacob Johnson, Travis Johnson, Nick Havemann and Trey Vychopen.
