Ernest was born on Jan. 3, 1930, to Thomas Roosevelt Martin and Sarah Jane Davis Martin.
Ernest was a hard worker who enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and watching sports on television.
He died on Friday, June 3, 2022.
Ernest is survived by one daughter; one brother; one sister; one daughter-in-law; three grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
