A public visitation for Frances Marie Lambrecht, 83, of Caldwell, was held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Caldwell.
A memorial service followed at 6 p.m. with Rev. Vanessa Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Lambrecht died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, in Caldwell.
Frances was born on Feb. 8, 1938, in Caldwell, to Leo and Mary (Prieve) Maresh.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Caldwell Brethren Church.
Frances graduated from Caldwell High School in 1956.
She was constantly working some job and raising cattle to help support her family.
Frances also worked for the Caldwell Telephone Company as a switchboard operator until the office became automated.
She did bookkeeping for the Porters Gin in the Brazos Bottom and worked for Keller Chair/Ladder Factory and Nagel.
In her last years of employment, Frances worked for various home health agencies as a caregiver for the homebound and elderly.
She was an avid reader, keeping up with current events in the community and the world.
Frances taught the kindergarten class at Caldwell Brethren Church for a number of years, and small children always had a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Janice Ann; her sister, Ruth Baasen; and her exhusband, John Dee Lambrecht.
Frances is survived by her son, Jarrell Dee Lambrecht; two brothers, Leo Maresh and wife, Connie, and Carl Maresh and wife, Betty; her brother-in-law, Kenneth Baasen; her granddaughter, Jo Ann Story; four greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
