Fred William Cruz, Sr. was born on March 25, 1943, to Gregor and Pauline Cruz in Caldwell, Texas. He was one of twelve siblings.

After his honorable discharge from the U.S. armed forces, Fred worked in the oilfield hauling oil and dispatching.

He was married to his wife, Margaret, for 53 years. To this union came 3 children: Fred, Bobby, and Randy.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and served in the Knights of Columbus. His family is grateful for his life and devotion to them, and especially for his devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. Fred had a true servant’s heart and loved to entertain.

We are grateful for the sure hope and resurrection from the dead through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, and are greatly looking forward to seeing him in heaven.

Some of our favorite memories include fishing, playing poker, and enjoying barbecues together.

Fred Cruz Sr. is survived by his children, Fred Cruz, Jr. and wife, Christine, Bobby Cruz and wife, Kristie, and Randy Cruz.
