Graveside services for Hubert Rudolph Odstrcil, 87, of Columbus will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at New Tabor Cemetery in Caldwell with Pastor Mark Brechin officiating.
Burial will follow at New Tabor Cemetery in Caldwell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus.
Mr. Odstrcil died on Sunday, March 21, 2021, in Columbus.
He was born on July 26, 1933, to Rudolph Odstrcil and Vlasta (Garbs) Odstrcil in Caldwell.
On Oct. 2, 1954, he married Dolores Joyce Kulhanek.
Hubert worked for 33 years as a child social worker for the state of Texas.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
Hubert enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outside in the yard, running his tractor and gardening.
He also loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Odstrcil and Vlasta Odstrcil; and his brother, Jerry Odstrcil.
Hubert is survived by his wife, Dolores Odstrcil; his daughter, Pamela McCrory-Bartlett; his granddaughter, Paige McCrory; and his brother, David Odstrcil, and wife, Emili.
