June was born June 6, 1936, in Rucker, Texas, to parents, Troy Mauney and Grace (Finley) Mauney.

A few of June’s favorite hobbies were going to garage sales, cooking (she was a very good cook) but most of all she loved the Lord and shared the Gospel message any chance she had.

She was a special mother-in-law that loved her kids and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a lovable lady and always made everyone feel comfortable and welcome when we were around.

Her son-in-law Darrell said, “You were always welcomed at Mom’s house, and she was always sincerely glad to see you. Anytime day or night, even without notice.”

She was everybody’s favorite Auntie Gal. She was very patriotic and passed it on to each of us. She loved having traditions and making memories with her family. The biggest accomplishment was the legacy of the faith she leaves behind.

She will be greatly missed and until we see her again.

Mrs. Vann-Heath was preceded by her parents; two brothers, Weldon, and John Earl Mauney; and a sister, Margie Eakin.
