Keith Allen Leasure, 66, passed away December 6, 2022, peacefully at his home in Lyons, Texas.
Keith was born on September 4, 1956, in Kankakee, Illinois.
He graduated from Somerville High School in 1976.
Keith married the love of his life Kathy Lou Sowders on November 17, 1979. Keith and Kathy had 3 children and were married 26 years.
He worked as a journeyman plumber for 20 years.
He had a passion for racing bikes and cars and went to the races often.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Izear and Mozell Leasure and Alveria and Kent Williams; by his father, Ronald Ozery Leasure; by his wife, Kathy Lou Leasure.
He is survived by children, Ronald Allen Leasure of Somerville, Texas, Keith Clarence Leasure and daughterin- law, Amy, of Somerville, Texas, and Tiffany Marie Leasure of Somerville, Texas. Keith is survived by ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Jackie Lou Wilson of Lyons, Texas; brother, Kevin Lee Leasure and sister-in-law, Dana, of Brenham, Texas; sister, Kathy Ann LaBarbera and brother-inlaw, Samuel, of Bryan, Texas; sister, Kandi Sue Childers and brotherin- law, John, of North Zulch, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Keith will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at American Legion Hall, 730 8th Street, Somerville, Texas 77879.
