LaVerne (Hein) Chollett, 87, passed away on June 11, 2022, after battling health complications.
Visitation with the family was held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022.
Funeral services celebrating her life were held at 10:00 am, Saturday June 18, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, Texas.
Following the services, LaVerne was laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery.
She is survived by son, L.H. Chollet and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Michael, James, and Andrew Leatherwood, Louis and William Darling, Nickolaus, Christopher, Jason, and Kathryn Funkhouser; great-grandchildren, Nickoli Leatherwood, Andi and Danielle Allison, Alana Hall, Myah, Quinn, Faith, Grace, Mercy, and Stella Chollett, Roland, and Gemma Funkhouser; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
