A Celebration of Life for Laverne Elaine Boehme, age 80, of Manor, Texas, was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Providence-JonesFamilyFuneralHome.
She was born in 1942 in Caldwell, Texas, to Ludwig and Lydia (Brinkman) Urbanovsky.
Laverne was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved Jesus and her family and friends.
She graduated from Caldwell High School and attended Nixon Clay Business College before her career with the State of Texas from which she retired after 32 years.
She loved her garden, crafts, chickens and cats.
She was an excellent and faithful caregiver for husband, Norman.
She was right at home at the Manor Community Farmers’ Market where she was an active, enthusiastic participant for years.
She died on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Laverne is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norman Boehme; two sons; one brother; and one sisterin- law.
