A viewing for Lillian Eugene Hieden, 87, of Caldwell will be held for her family, friends and people whose lives she has touched on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Strickland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hieden died peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in Caldwell.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1933, to Charlie and Lilly Weis.
She married Elwood Hieden on Nov. 30, 1955, and celebrated 65 years of love together.
She was widely known as a master seamstress, completing work for celebrities such as Farrah Fawcett. She used her talents to complete work for the entire community, from altering school uniforms for many organizations to creating gorgeous wedding gowns and pieces displayed all over the world.
When she wasn’t sewing, she also enjoyed baking and gardening with her husband, but her greatest joy came from creating beautiful pieces of art for her family.
She was preceded in death by her siblings.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Elwood Hieden; and her four daughters, Linda Starkey, Debbie Roberts, Brenda Luna and Doris Hieden; her sons-in-law; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
