MANDY VAJDAK

Mandy Vajdak passed away on December 7, 2022.

Visitation was at 10 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., on December 12, 2022, at the Snook Brethren Church. Interment followed at the Snook Cemetery.

Mandy Vajdak was born on June 22, 1980, in Bryan Texas, to Dale and Cathy Marek.

Mandy married the love of her life, Bradley Vajdak, on June 16, 2006, in St. Lucia, of the Virgin Islands.

Her love for people is what led her to become a nurse.

She enjoyed helping with the Toy Run, Mud Valley Ball, and the Hog Splash benefits.

She truly loved the outdoors, and each year she would vacation anywhere there was an ocean view.

Her hobbies included gardening, fishing, watching movies, listening to music, and baking Kolaches. She won the non-professional grand champion for the 2019 Kolache Festival.

She loved spending time with family, especially her twins, her friends, and working alongside her husband processing meat.

She loved life, and most of all, the life she had with her husband and her children.

Mandy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Emil Marek; and her maternal grandparents, Wilfed and Ora’Nell Bender.

She is survived by her husband, Bradley Vajdak; son, Elliott “Eli” Wallace Vajdak; daughter, Macy Elaine Vajdak; her parents, Dale and Cathy Marek; her sister, Brandy Elaine Kovar and husband, Craig; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Marek; her in-laws, Edward and Carolyn Vajdak; sisters-in-law, Shayna Istre and husband, John, and Nicole Godwin and husband, Blake.

Pallbears include John Istre, Blake Godwin, Kenny Marek, Randy Marek, Chooch Macik, and Robert Rubach.

Donations can be made to the Hospice Brazos Valley and Snook Brethren Church.
