Marvin Peter Ubernosky

Marvin Peter Ubernosky, 86, of Rosenberg, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Sugar Land.

He was born on May 15, 1938, in Caldwell, to Alfred and Louise (Matus) Ubernosky.

Marvin was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg.

He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959.

Marvin retired from Gulf States Tube (Quanex) after 43 years of service.

Marvin had a love for the outdoors.

He also enjoyed going to Polka dances with his wife, Jeanette, sometimes up to three times a week.

This loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be missed.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Ubernosky; and brothers, Edwin and Milton Ubernosky.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanette (Kusak) Ubernosky; daughters, Sheila Moore and her husband, John “Sonny” Moore, Jr. and Melissa Ubernosky; granddaughters, Ashley and Morgan Moore; siblings, Herbert Ubernosky, Bernice Freudensprung, Melvin Ubernosky (twin) and wife, Margie and Barbara Jean Tutt and husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Barbara Schroeder; brotherin- law, Rudy Kusak, Jr. and his wife, Gail; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg.

Burial with military honors followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, Rosenberg, Texas.
