Patricia also enjoyed gardening, sewing, music, traveling, enjoying her favorite foods and most of all shopping for her favorite things.
She played the organ at St. Mary Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for many years.
Patricia was also active in local organizations and in raising her two daughters.
After she and Alvin parted, she worked for several years in medical records at the Burleson County hospital (now St. Joseph’s) in Caldwell.
Later in life as her overall health declined, Patricia resided at the St. Joseph’s Manor in Caldwell and then at Park Valley Inn in Round Rock to be closer to Belinda and Carol. Both Belinda and Carol cared for Patricia, but Belinda played an especially significant role as caregiver for her mother over her last years.
