PHIL PERRY

Phil David Perry, 72, of Caldwell, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, and what a joyous reunion it must have been!

A public visitation was held in his honor on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Phil was born November 25, 1949, in Bryan, Texas. His parents were Newton and Lena Perry.

He grew up in Caldwell and attended Caldwell ISD schools and two years for automotive technology at TSTI in Waco, Texas.

His passions in life were his family, home, and classic cars.

Phil was a mechanic by trade. He was service manager at both dealers for ten years and selfemployed for 20 years ending his career as a sales representative for ten years at Bud Cross Ford.

Phil married the love of his life and best friend, Cindy Jane Kornegay, on January 10, 1971. To this union were born two daughters, Christie Ann and Alesha Jane.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He loved his family and loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers; and five sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years; and his two daughters; and four grandchildren, Ava, Harper, Aiden, and Connor.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
