A Celebration of Life for Richard Lopez Jr., 45, of Bryan will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Richard Lopez Jr, aka “Pito” was born on Feb. 23, 1976, in Bryan, to Richard Lopez and Betty (Ortega) Garcia.
Mr. Lopez died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.
He was one of seven siblings.
Richard graduated from Caldwell High School in 1994.
He was known for his big heart and his love for pit bulls and roosters.
Richard’s priority was always his family. His two children, Richard and Madalyn, were the loves of his life. He never met a stranger and will always be known for his loyalty in friendships.
Richard is survived by one daughter; one son; his stepfather; two brothers; four sisters; and numerous extended family and friends.
