A celebration of life will be held for Rowena Keith Gaar, 91, on April 2, 2022, for friends and family.
She was born in Wewoka, Okla., on March 7, 1931, to Charles and Elizabeth “Bess” Keith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Her love and compassion for those around her will be forever missed by many.
Rowena loved and was loved by many people in life -- her family, her friends, and everyone she kept up with through social media.
She had a passion for Jesus and for education. She dedicated 39 years of her life to teaching. She thoroughly enjoyed her Bible study group, the “Keen-agers,” and attending church every Sunday that she could.
She peacefully passed on March 23, 2022.
Rowena is survived by her loving family: one son; two daughters; five granddaughters; five grandsons; six greatgrandchildren; one former daughter-in-law; one daughter-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
