Funeral Services for Roy Franklin Havemann, 82, of Deanville, will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville, Texas.
Roy was born on Feb. 2, 1939, to Elroy Havemann and Lena Mae Schoppe Havemann in the Birch community, Lyons, Texas.
He attended Lutheran High in Houston, Texas.
Roy served in the Army National Guard for three years as a master sharpshooter.
He started working at a young age in the cabinet and trim business, and later became a master and is well known in our area, as a custom cabinet and trim carpenter.
He believed in, and loved the Lord. Roy loved his children and was so proud of each of them, and all of their accomplishments.
Mr. Havemann died on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna Havemann of Deanville; his children; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
