Graveside services for Shirley Estelle Reed, 91, of Caldwell, were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Forest Oaks Cemetery, located at 6300 W. William Cannon Drive, in Austin.
Mrs. Reed died peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Shirley was born on June 5, 1929.
Shirley loved traveling, reading books, and her family. She especially loved spending time with family.
Shirley will be remembered as a kind, compassionate friend with a wonderful sense of humor, family said.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Reed; her parents, George Jones and Alma Pruitt; and her son, Jeffrey Reed.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Mark Reed, and Steven Reed and wife, Rhonda; her grandchildren, Derek Kenney and wife, Kelsi, and Caleb Kenney and wife, Alicia; and her great-grandchildren, Jacob Kenney, Karlee Mixon, Breyden Athey, Landon Kenney, Kylee Kenney and Allison Kenney.
