Steve was born on December 26, 1935, to Joseph and Victoria Pribilski Przyborski in Washington County. He was the youngest of seven children.
Steve was baptized on December 28, 1935, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas, by Rev. Charles Weisnerowski.
Steve married the love of his life, Elizabeth Vasicek on April 27, 1957. They were happily married for 63 years. They initially started their life together in Houston and upon retiring they moved to Caldwell. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Caldwell.
Steve was a proud member of the United States Army for two years and in the United States Army Reserve for one year. During his time in the army he was stationed in Germany.
Steve’s work career consisted of being a supervisor at American Porcelain Enameling, Inc. in Houston, an estimator for Danny Zoch in Pasadena and then an estimator for Kenjura Tile, Inc. in Brenham.
Steve will be greatly missed. He had the kindest heart and was an amazing son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching all sports but especially loved an Astros Baseball Game or a Tennis match played by Roger Federer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and their spouses, Bennie and Rosalie, and Mike and Barbara; his sisters and their spouses, Julia Zientek Means and Cecil, Pearlie and Ted Kenjura, Barbara Mazen Gardner and John, Gertrude Nowak, Edmond Nowak; his father-in-law, George Vasicek; his mother-in-law, Cecelia Vasicek; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albin Vasicek, Cliff and Irene Schneider, Carroll and Anita Steely, Glenn and Dorothy Moye, Don Gibson, and Billy Vasicek; his niece, Shirley Crowder; his great-nephews, Austin Bradley Schneider and David Vasicek.
Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Elizabeth Przyborski; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Julie Kenjura, Emil and Cecilia Vasicek, Daniel and Jennifer Vasicek, Neely Vasicek and Georgia Gibson; and many, nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 701 Church Street, Brenham, Texas 77833 on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Brenham.
