Funeral services for L.M. “Buddy” Preuss III, 80 of Giddings, Texas, are scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Tim Pitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery.

Thomas Franklin Urbanosky of Caldwell, Texas, and youngest son of Louis F. and Lenora Novosad Urbanosky died peacefully on Tuesday Jan. 2, 2024, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Veta Ann Fall Urbanosky; and son-in-law, Andrew McLaughlin. Thomas is survived by his five daughters, Lucinda Ann (Mark) Boggess of Austin, Texas, Lenora Susan McLaughlin of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Laura Lynn (Fred) Scott of Huntington,

Lavelle Watson Gasper was born March 21, 1925, to Tola Earl Watson and Virlena Mae (Clepper) Watson in the Brazos bottom of Burleson County, Texas. She attended several Burleson County schools while the family farmed in different parts of the county.
