Burton surges to early lead, beats Snook 54-13

    Burton’s explosive, ball-control offense took control early for a big first-half lead and cruised to a 54-13 road win over Snook last Friday.

    The 7-0 Panthers, tied with Somerville for first place in District 14-2A with 4-0 district records, again ran the ball effectively with 369 rushing yards and 436 total yards.

    Snook fell to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in district but still alive for a playoff spot.
