Last week, the Lady Hornets went 2-4 at the Madisonville Softball Tournament with wins over Shepherd and Elkhart.
Caldwell began the tournament on Thursday with a 9-5 loss to Fairfield in three innings.
The Lady Hornets had three hits in the loss, including doubles from Kaylee Crump and Emily Smith.
Caldwell then faced off against Leon, losing 8-6.
