The Caldwell tennis team opened up its season on the road in Bryan in a three-way event with Bryan High and Rudder on Tuesday and then went to Madisonville on Friday to take on the Mustangs and Palestine.
On Tuesday, Caldwell fell to Bryan High 4-15 and to Rudder 6-13.
The four victories over Bryan were: * Mixed doubles: Dylan Chapman and Tilly Hicks defeated Gavin N. and Caroline W. 8-0.
