CALDWELL’S DORIS Hieden won the Women’s Class A division for the eighth time at the Texas State Horseshoe Pitchers State Singles Championships held in Waco, over Oct. 7-9.
Hieden placed first with a pitching percentage of 80.09% and a high game percentage of 87.5%.
She is also a four-time state doubles champion.
This event was hosted by the Central Texas Horseshoe Pitchers Association.
