Nine area girls basketball players were named to the District 26-2A All-District Team -- led by Somerville’s Ra’Maya Carter being named Defensive MVP for the 2021- 2022 season.
Carter was the Lady Yeguas’ leading scorer this season and a dominant player on defense.
Also making the district’s First Team were Snook’s Lexi Macik and Somerville’s Emma Kovasovic.
