    Somerville High School’s Brandyn Carter scored his 1,000th career point as a varsity Yeguas basketball player last Saturday in a road win at Burton.

    Carter reached the milestone on a 2-point rebound put-back shot in the Yeguas 80-37 win.

    He ended the game with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, and he now has 1,007 total varsity career points.
