Over 40 Caldwell Junior High School tennis players recently competed in the district tournament in Taylor.
The Caldwell eighthgrade girls finished second in the team standings with 10.5 points, behind Academy with 16.5 points and ahead of Rockdale and Cameron Yoe, each with four points.
The eighth-grade boys were third with 8-5 points, behind Academy with 12.5 points and Rockdale with 11.
