Last week at the Waco High Spring Tournament, Hughson and W. Chapman lost a hard-fought battle in the championship match to Warren and Scott of Gatesville 4-6, 7-5, 5-10 to finish second in the Boys A Doubles Division.
The pair’s path to the finals included a 4-2, 5-3 win over Renfro and J. Van Der Merwe of Hays and a 4-4 victory over Singleton and Prado of Brownwood.
