The Somerville Yegua basketball team’s season ended last Friday at the hands of the Hearne Eagles in front of a packed house -- with the Yeguas falling 73-61.
The area match-up was held at Rudder High School in Bryan.
In the first quarter, the Yeguas were able to go toe-to-toe with the Eagles, ending the frame with a two-point Hearne lead 19-17.
